Vikings Did Not Cut It!

Hey, guys welcome back to another football blog! Today we are going to be talking about why the Vikings did not make it very far into the playoffs. Ok, so first Kirk Cousins was not performing at his best ability. He only had 172 yards in passing and completion rate of 72.4%. You may be saying “Well that’s not that bad” but it is! He had more yards in the Pro-Bowl! Kirk had an average of 5.9 yards per throw again he had an average of 8.9 in the Pro-Bowl! So I think I proved my point about Kirk but I am not done! The Vikings ex offensive coordinator Steven Stefanski was calling run plays when they weren’t working like what kind of offensive coordinator is that!  Like Dalvin Cook only had 18 yards! That is how good the San Fransico 49’rs defense is! Usually, Dalvin gets over 90 yards per game against others!  I rest my point on Steven but that’s not all. Our defense was not performing either obviously because we lost. Well, I’ll give them credit on holding them when the offense was not performing but still, they should have held up! This is playoffs, not a regular-season game! Everything in that game against the 49’rs was bad and I hope we can step it up next year!

Alright, The only good thing that came out of this football season was the pro bowl! Kirk Cousins did really well in the passing accuracy-test and carried the Nfc in that department! Also, Dalvin Cook was also in the pro bowl but we really didn’t get to see him much but he still did good in the pro bowl.

It was a good season for the Vikings but I hope next year they bring way more then they did this year! See you guys next blog post!

Heres the video of kirks big play in the pro bowl.

Vikings 26-20 Saints

Hey guys and girls I got news for you! The Vikings won against the Saints 26-20! They did amazing! Kirk did a super duper job! That pass in overtime to Adam Thielen for 63 yards which basically won it for us! Kyle Rudolph with the end zone grabs for the win in overtime!

What’s going to happen next! Alright, we went into that game against the Saints as the underdogs and we won! People may say the Saints weren’t playing 100% but I think they were because they still had a good run game and passing game. The Vikings just had really good defense and offense which in the end really mattered. Also some controversy about how Rudolph pushed off for the end zone touchdown but I think the ref’s made a good call. It could have gone either way with the call because they were both pushing off with each other at the end. Even Mike Pereira said it could have gone either way and he is the head ref of the NFL! In my opinion, I think the Saints fans are just mad about how they lost to the Vikings!

Ok now onto the stats of the game for the Vikings!

Kirk Cousins 19/31, 242 Yards, 1 Touchdown, 0 Interceptions!

Dalvin Cook- 28 Carries, 94 Yards, 2 Touchdowns, Average of 3.4 yards per carry!

Alexander Mattison- 5 Carries, 20 Yards, 0 Touchdowns, Average of 4 yards per carry!

Adam Theilen- 7 Receptions, 129 Yards, 0 Touchdowns, Average of 9 yards per reception!

Stefon Diggs- 2 Receptions, 19 Yards, 0 Touchdowns, Average of 3 Yards per Reception

Ok now I am done, I will see you next week against the 49’rs!

Vikings Week 10

Hey, guys, it’s me again, back with another amazing football blog about the Minnesota Vikings week 10 against the Cowboys. The Vikings are on a roll and I like the way there rolling because our defense last night was amazing! Yea they had some problems with covering the WR but besides that, we held the Cowboys very well!

Let’s talk about how the players did!

Kirk Cousins- 79.1% completion rate- 220 total passing yards- Did really well against Cowboys because the Cowboys have really good corners.

Dalvin Cook- 97 Total Yards- 3.7 Average Per Run- Longest Run Was 26 Yards- Overall Dalvin did pretty well against the Cowboys because the Cowboys have a really good set of linebackers!

Stefon Diggs- 3 Receptions- 49 Total Yards- 16.3 Yards Average- Did Very well getting around the Cowboys corners! Also without Theilen, he did very well.

Image result for stefon diggs

These are the players I think did the best against the Cowboys overall, Well we did come out on top 28-24! All the Vikings need to do is just communicate better in tough times because some of those plays we did in the last half were messy but that’s all they need to fix! All I need to say is good job Vikings and I will see you in week 11 against the Broncos!

Thank you guys for reading through my blog and I will see you in week 11!

The Vikings Week 4

Hey guys It’s my first blog post and were going to talk about how the Minnesota Vikings lost against the Bears 6-16 and what they need to do to make their team better. Well first off we need a new quarterback because Kirk Cousins is not cutting it. Last night he could not make a pass for the life of him even Adam Thielen one of the Vikings best wide receivers posted this comment “You have to be able to make plays. You have to be able to hit the deep balls. You have to do that because otherwise, it’s too easy for teams to just tee off and rush the quarterback. … In this league, you can’t be one-dimensional. It’s just too easy to defend.” I mean he isn’t wrong. So the Vikings need to trade Kirk Cousins or he needs to get his head in the game because I don’t want one of the best wide receivers on the Minnesota Vikings to quit and go to another team because we need them.

Now on to the stats of the week 4 game,

Dalvin Cook-    Average of 2.5 yards per carry –  35 rushing yards total – 1 rushing touchdown, This is below average for Dalvin Cook.

Alexander Mattison- Average of 2.5 yards per carry – 5 rushing yards total – No rushing touchdowns.

Adam Thielen-  Average of 3.0 yards per reception –  6  receiving yards total – No receiving touchdowns, This is way below average for Adam Thielen.

Stefon Diggs- Average of 15.4 yards per reception – 108 receiving yards total- No receiving touchdowns, I mean its pretty average for Stefon Diggs.

Bisi Johnson- Average of 8.8 yards per reception – 35 receiving yards total – No receiving touchdowns.

Kirk Cousins- 233 passing yards total – Completion rate of 75 percent – No touchdowns, He is just annoying me at this point.

Overall we didn’t do very well against the Bears but it’s not just the players who were bad it was also the Vikings Offensive Coordinator he was calling all of those running plays when they clearly weren’t working because he told Kirk to have Dalvin Cook run straight up the middle when the Bears strongest defense is literally in the middle. The Bears were missing a couple of there best defensive players in the Mike and Will spots like why wouldn’t you run the corners. Well, all I am saying is the Offensive Coordinator and the players need to get there head in the game and play what there getting paid.

If you made it through this whole blog you’re literally the best and I can’t thank you enough for reading my opinions and the stats of the Minnesota Vikings! If you like what I do here then stay tuned for more posts about the Minnesota Vikings!
